My educational background includes a BA in Environmental Studies from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I hold a Master of Public Administration degree from George Mason University. I have doctoral coursework from George Mason University in Education.

I have experience teaching religious school part-time for over 14 years and have taught and tutored students from nursery school to adults. I also have experience working as a middle school science teacher. I have experience working with students with special needs including those with ADHD and autism.

When working with students, I like to provide examples that are relatable. I try to use real world examples that connect with the subject matter to better illustrate questions and topics that are being studied. I also have experience creating similar questions for students to gain expertise.

I have passed the VCLA, Praxis II- Middle School Math, Praxis II- Health/PE, Praxis II- Technology Education, and Praxis II- Middle School Science.

Credentials include: Certified Environmental educator, certified facilities manager, certified personal trainer
