"Hello! My name is Saige and I am an ELA and LSAT tutor. I recently graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in English Education and Women’s Studies, and earned a 3.95 GPA throughout college. I have experience teaching English at a middle and high school level.

My approach is strength-based tutoring- I learn your strengths and interests, and use those to help you develop skills in other areas. I work for that “aha” moment- the moment where everything clicks and you are genuinely learning. I look at and give feedback on previous work, so I get a sense of your style and abilities. Part of my price includes feedback throughout the week- if you need feedback on an essay, for example, you can share it with me throughout the week and I will give comments/suggestions within 24 hours.

I have taught students from grades 1-12, in 3 different states throughout my life. I primarily have taught ELA at the high school level. I have usually worked with whole classrooms at a time (around 30 students), or with small groups to focus on skill building.

I recently took the LSAT and scored a 170 on it. As an English major, my reading comprehension skills are strong, and I am able to help break down question types and strategies on the LR section with you.
