"I am a Middle School Teacher in the public school system. I am certified to teach Mathematics, Reading and Writing. I have been a middle school Math teacher for more than 25 years. I have tutored for a number of years in the areas of Mathematics, Reading and Writing. I also work with students to improve their study skills in all the K - 8 subject areas including Science and Social Studies. I have been teaching Math for more than 25 years. I also teach Reading and Writing. Before teaching only Math, I taught Language Arts(Reading, Writing), and Math. I work with students using a variety of problem solving strategies. I also incorporate technology in my instruction. Manipulatives are used to enhance learning. I have tutored students in the past including my very own children who have graduated from Ivy League universities. I was the recipient of "Governor's Teachers Recognition Award".
