"My name is Ashley and I am a 25 year old Stetson University graduate with a major in Theatre and minor in pre medicine. In total, I have worked with children for about 5 years. My experience with children started when I worked as a Pediatric medical assistant with an office specialty in ADHD and childhood behavior. After graduating and working as a medical assistant, I moved to China to teach English with students from ages 3 to 19. Our English curriculum covered writing, phonics, sentence structure, as well as English application such centered on subjects such as history, science, and social sciences. After moving back to the states, I worked as a lead teacher for 2nd grade and a co-teacher for 1st grade.

Helping others grow through knowledge is a passion I have held my entire life. I enjoy teaching students of all ages because it opens up doors to brighter futures and helps students learn more about themselves in various ways. I believe education and knowledge is the key to success whether its building the foundation for a strong society or simply satisfying a person's dreams and ambitions.

I have taught English for all elementary levels, specifically with a focus in phonics, sentence structure, vocabulary, and grammar. I have also taught elementary math and social studies.

I worked in pediatrics for 3 years which has given me an extensive knowledge in medical procedures and terminology. I was a pre medicine focus in college and have taken advanced level science such as Anatomy and Physiology, General Chemistry, Bio Statistics, Biochemistry, and Organic Chemistry.

I worked as an English teacher for over a year in China with a focus in writing and subject application.
