"I am a Kindergarten Assistant in the Boston, MA area. I primarily work with Kindergarten students, and I am licensed to teach K-2 classes. I am in school to get my Elementary Education (K-6) Masters. My interest in education started in my high school years. I had the opportunity to work at an after school for 6 years and then transitioned to my current role as a Kindergarten Assistant. There are many things I love about teaching, one being seeing students grow in the subjects they may be struggling with. In order to support students, I plan differentiated lessons so that I can meet the needs of all students. I am very patient and understanding towards each student and his/her needs. For me the most important thing is to have a connection with the student and to help them grow! I am excited to share some of my skills with you on here and help you succeed!

Currently I offer tutoring in K-6 math, reading, writing, spelling and grammar. In a potential meeting, the child can expect to share what they need support with in a safe space and receive understanding and the necessary help. I offer meetings through Wyzant and Zoom. I have worked with kids since I was 15. I am patient, kind, and understanding towards every child I work with. I have had the pleasure of working with students of many backgrounds and learning styles. I am able to differentiate and modify learning to better support the students and what they need.

I am originally from Bulgaria and can speak Bulgarian fluently. The language definitely has a level of difficulty, but with a lot of patience, time and practice you will succeed in learning the new language!
