"I'm Kodi and I'm a 3rd grade teacher. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Master's degree in gifted education. I have my bachelor's degree from Grand Canyon University. I typically create lesson plans that are hands on and visual but still appeals to all types of learners. It is important to incorporate different learning styles and techniques because it makes learning fun for everyone involved. I like to leave a little extra time at the end of the lesson to ensure each student is fully understanding the material and to see if we need to shift focus or keep moving forward.

I have been teaching for 3 years now and have been loving every second of it. Although I have only been officially teaching for 3 years, I do have over 10 years experience in working with children in which during that time I assisted with school assignments. I love to learn and I want to share that love with my students in the hopes that they will adopt that same love of learning.

I want to ensure the students I am working with are getting the resources they need to be successful and offer any kind of support and encouragement that I can so they can be the best that they can be.
