"Hello, I am Carl. I graduated with my Master of Arts degree in Teaching. I am currently a certified 4th grade educator based at a charter school in Newark, New Jersey. During my years of teaching all my classrooms have been inclusion classrooms where all scholars have equal access to educational opportunities in a learning environment where all scholars are equally safe, valued, and respected no matter their differences in learning styles.
I have 3+years of tutoring experience with elementary math and literacy. as mentioned above I am skilled with working with scholars who have differentiated learning needs. I currently hold tutoring sessions 3 days out of the week after school for scholars at my school who need the additional help. These sessions are based around skills to either close the learning gap or focused on where we currently are within the curriculum. The subjects focused on mainly are Math and Literacy.
I want to benefit scholars I work with as much as possible. It's important to have a solid parent partnership so that all parties are on the same page about the scholars learning goals.
