"I have taught grades PreK-5 for a total of 26 years. I am certified to teach remedial reading K-12. I am National Board Certified. I was a Number Sense Coach and have taught students how to compete with mental math. I enjoy teaching Reading Skills and Math. I am familiar with Common Core and helped train my fellow teachers in Common Core Standards. I am a Brainspring Orton-Gillingham Certified Dyslexia Specialist. I am open to tutoring other subject areas as well on the elementary grade level. I can tutor in pre-algebra and algebra.

I believe that every student can learn if they are taught in their own learning style. I believe in individualizing instruction to each student and helping them stay motivated to build confidence in the areas that they have been struggling.
