"Hi, I’m Danielle R! I’m a passionate educator with over seven years of experience in literacy instruction and Montessori education. I have a Master’s degree in Education and have worked with children ranging from toddlers to preteens, both in classrooms and online. My approach to teaching is rooted in the Science of Reading, helping students build strong skills in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension.

Before pursuing my tutoring practice, I spent three years as a lead teacher in early childhood and elementary Montessori classrooms. I loved creating hands-on, student-centered learning experiences that made literacy engaging and accessible. Now, I work one-on-one with students as a virtual and at home tutor, helping them grow in reading, writing, and grammar.

I’m also trained in Orton-Gillingham and hold certifications from the American Montessori Society and the Center for Guided Montessori Studies. This combination allows me to bring a well-rounded, research-backed approach to my teaching, making sure each child gets the support they need to thrive as a reader and writer.
