"Hi I'm Kelsey I have been teaching Elementary school for 7 years most of that time in third grade. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. I then went on to get my Masters in Children's Literature, also at the University of Florida. I taught third grade for two years in Atlanta, GA after graduating. I then Moved to Cincinnati and taught a technology position k-5 for one year. After that I moved schools and have been teaching 3rd grade there for the last 4 years.

My specialty and area of interest is reading and writing. However, I also teach 3rd grade math, grammar, science, and social studies.I also have an interest in integrating technology in the classroom and have taken online courses in the use of Google Apps in Education. I have lots of online resources to share that can help students learn. As I have been teaching third grade most of my career I am very familiar with the third grade reading guarantee and how to help students reach those goals. I am able to help with test prep, homework help, and or any focus area students may be struggling with.

I have been teaching common core 3rd grade math for 6 years. I have studied common core math k-5 and am available and ready to help with any math k-6.

I have taught third grade science in GA, OH, and have learned in FL. I am familiar with the standards in grades k-5 and am available to help.

ELA is my are of specialty, I have my masters in Children's Literature and and I enjoy teaching reading and writing in response to literature!
