I have been a Reading Specialist since 2008 and I also taught 1st grade from 2006-2007. I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2006 from Illinois State University. I received a master's degree in reading and literacy in May 2009. I was trained in Reading Recovery during the 2009-2010 school year and during the 2021-2022 school year.
