"Hello! I'm Brooke, a preschool teacher and experienced reading tutor. I have over 7 years of classroom experience and 5 years of tutoring experience. I specialize in early reading skills like letter recognition, letter sounds (phonics), blending and decoding, and early reading comprehension. I also have experience with fine motor skills like handwriting and cutting. My favorite ages to work with are pre-k through elementary, but I have experience tutoring reading and writing through the college level.

As an early childhood educator, I'm very passionate about making early learning FUN! My style as a tutor is nurturing and encouraging; I strive to help students be their best while also creating a safe and fun learning environment. I do a lot of play-based learning, incorporating games, music, or arts and crafts, depending on each student's preferences.
