"My name is Tasia and I am an elementary school teacher assistant. I have 5 years of experience in teaching, tutoring and providing support academically to students from ages 5-11.

I provide heavy encouragement to get my students to thrive, strive and be confident with excelling in their studies.

I use strategies and techniques for students to memorize how to solve problems. Such as counting objects and using a reward system.

I repeat the words for the student and have them repeat it back to me to make sure they hear every sound. I use the chunking method and frequent quizzes for memorization.

I currently hold a certification as a registered behavior technician. I am equipped with tools and techniques to teach those with ASD.
