"Hello! My name is Marisa and I have been an elementary school teacher of four years. I love teaching and helping to make learning fun and enjoyable for young children, especially one to one and in a small group setting. There is no better way to get to know a child individually and help him/her succeed.

Just a little background on me-I have taught second grade for three years. One of my experiences was at an international school in Prague. I also was an in-class support teacher for first grade and have taught a first grade dual language class. As a genearal education with inclusion students in my class, I have experience teaching students with disabilities. Additionally, my student teaching component was completed in a third grade classroom.

My teaching style is based on the children I am teaching. I use interactive lessons, hands-on materials and different activities to engage my student(s). I am able to help children in any area of elementary level work." less...
