"As an elementary teacher I have taught all elementary subjects and several grade levels. I have taught for 8 years and in that time I completed both my masters and specialist degrees. Not only do I love teaching, but I also love to learn!

One of my passions is helping students who struggle in a subject area gain the knowledge they need to be successful. I specialize in tutoring math, reading, and phonics.

I am available for tutoring during the summer from 9:00 to 6:00, during the school year from 4:00 to 6:00, and weekends 9:00 to 6:00. Pleas give an hours notice for cancellations.

I have successfully taught 1st-6th grade math.

I have also successfully taught 1st-6th Reading comprehension, vocabulary, and language arts.

As an elementary teacher I have taught phonics skills to children who struggle with reading. Being able to read is essential for all subject areas. Many times the students I have worked with on phonics have been older children although I have worked with children as young as 1st grade.
