"Hello! My name is Pam and I'm 28 years old. I graduated Cum Laude from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I am a certified teacher in grades Pre K-3 and am currently a substitute for the Strongsville City School System in all grades through 6!

I have a strong background in tutoring and advancing young children, ages 2-8 and I specialize in reading, language development and phonemic awareness.

I have always wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and love interacting with children and instilling a passion for learning in them that they may not have had the chance to explore before.

I believe that all children are capable of greatness in their educational endeavors. Some may just need a little extra help to get there! I believe that given the right kind of guidance and instruction, any child is capable of exceptional learning!

My educational goals for your child will be based on his or her individual needs and will be determined on a one-on-one basis. Every child learns differently and while some methods may work well for one child, it doesn't necessary mean that they will work and be effective on another child. I believe that the best and most efficient way to help any child who is struggling is to take each case, one at a time, and evaluate my methods according to that particular child's needs.

I will work hard to keep your child stimulated and challenged without becoming overwhelmed. I believe that communication, positive reinforcement and guided instruction are among some of the best tools to help motivate and foster young minds when it comes to learning.

I charge 45 dollars per hour for my tutoring services. I am somewhat flexible with my tutoring schedule and do require a 24 hour cancellation notice but I do realize that emergencies happen and am open to occasional make-up classes, if needed. I generally suggest meeting at a midway point between myself and the student, such as a library or someplace similar.
