"Hi there! My name is Brooke. I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree at the University of Southern Maine. I will earn my degree in history with a minor in philosophy. Once I finish I plan on applying to get my masters in Special Education. I don't have experience tutoring, but I am an Ed tech teaching elementary students.

My goal with tutoring is to help students achieve their goals. Certain subjects can be demanding for students and having someone there to help guide them can make their education better. When you have a support system you will have a better chance at success.

Elementary math involves basic math skills. This is taught with real life examples to help enforce the lesson.

I, like many others have ADHD. Over the years I have learned skills to help me be successful. I will take my skills and teach them to students who struggle with ADHD.

Currently I work with elementary aged students. Spelling and handwriting can become frustrating, but I use the basic sounding out the word and patience to help students achieve their goals.
