"From a young age, I have been passionate about painting and the visual arts, leading me to earn a bachelor's degree in Interior and Environmental Design from Tsinghua University’s Academy of Arts & Design—China’s top-ranked institution and #16 globally. With 30 years of experience as a chief interior designer, vice president, and partner at internationally renowned firms across the U.S., Australia, and China, I have worked on upscale hospitality, commercial, retail, and residential projects worldwide. This industry experience allows me to provide students with valuable insights into both fine art and its practical applications in architectural and interior design.

While advancing my design career, I have remained dedicated to fine art, refining my skills and mentoring students for over 20 years—starting with my own children. Under my guidance, both were admitted to the prestigious BAK Middle School of the Arts (MSOA) and Dreyfoos School of the Arts (SOA), earning over 30 Scholastic Art Awards. One became a National Finalist in Design Art by the National YoungArts Foundation, while the other received the Outstanding AP Art Studio Student recognition from the College Board. Their strong portfolios led to acceptance into top U.S. art and design programs.

Inspired by their success, I expanded my tutoring to help students of all ages develop their artistic talents. I specialize in audition preparation for BAK MSOA and Dreyfoos SOA, as well as portfolio development for top art and design colleges. My instruction covers drawing, painting, sculpture, animation, figure and portrait drawing, still life and landscape composition, color theory, graphic design, architectural modeling, and advanced skills in perspective, spatial composition, rendering, and 3D design.
