"Did you know 4-5 octave ranges are way more common than you’d think…? This technique’s legacy include some of pop music’s most famous singers, past and present.
I'm a vocal coach who teaches out of my experience as a lifelong professional musician. My practice is trauma informed, and I tailor each experience to the unique needs of each individual, from children to professionals, all needs and genders. With the help of my B. of Sc. cum laude in music industry with an emphasis in business from the University of Southern California Thornton School, my now decades of active experience in music allows me to coach voice and most subjects associated with it including self-accompaniment on piano and guitar, home studio production, and acting. I also enjoy working with artist development coaching to seeking to approach individual artistry as holistically as possible, and I especially enjoy working with songwriting/music theory.
If you would like a single session with me as a vocal coach, as a beginner just starting out or a pro seeking the tune up, I hope to drastically improve your familiarity with your voice in one hour. My goal as a coach is not to have you coming back week after week - I want you to gain confidence in your vocal health and performance as quickly as possible. After that, we all get tangled up sometimes, and I'm always around to provide the external perspective necessary for a vocal tune up. Similarly, if you would like to work with me as a songwriter, self-accompanist, content creator, performer, etc., I hope to give you all the fundamentals and tricks of the trade up front to give you control of your own artistry.
Although this is a high performance vocal technique, the emphasis is on vocal health and safety. It is also an appropriate activity for seeking to prevent or recover from trauma or physical damage affecting the voice.
