"As an recent graduate of Grand Canyon University with a Master’s in Special Education, my interest are in pursuing a position in education in which one can assist students with learning disabilities become successful in their educational needs. My goal is to acquire new development and understanding of educational structures. I have worked in the teaching field for many years, and in the process collected an abundance of knowledge and experience. Along the way I gained a great appreciation for the different aspects of education. The field of education is both challenging and rewarding and I enjoy increasing my teaching abilities to include diverse extents of teaching. I love working with students when they are first learning to read. I love the look in their eyes when they are able to read a passage and understand the words and the meaning of what they have read. When comprehension occurs the light bulb goes off and that glimmer of understanding comes across their faces you know they are learning and reading becomes fun and enjoyable.

I have been working with students for many years from Early Childhood Education to High School. My most recent job has been working with students in public schools and intervention groups.
