"Hello!
My name is Jordyn and I am an emergency medicine resident physician. As a tutor, my passion lies in helping students with their applications to make their dreams come true. From personal statement editing to reviewing your application as a whole and even interview prep, I take great pride in walking through the entire process with you.
Over the years, I have had valuable experiences working on personal statements, resumes, and applications, and I am very comfortable helping students at all phases of the process. I worked for the admissions offices of both my undergraduate and medical schools and was able to gain beneficial insight into what admissions officers are looking for. Between undergrad and medical school, I was also on the hiring end of my job which provided valuable interview insights. I love helping my students present their already impressive accolades as polished and concisely as possible. To date, I have helped students successfully gain admission to DO, MD, PA, MPH, Podiatry, Nursing, Speech Pathology, NP, and other graduate and undergraduate programs. These programs include Columbia and George Washington (MPH), Ohio State (Masters in Counseling), UCLA (nursing), New York Medical College (MD) - just to name a few!
While application prep is my primary focus, I am also comfortable tutoring biology, chemistry, math, nursing paper proofreading, and ACT/SAT test prep. My availability for these subjects varies depending on the various application cycles.
Tutoring can be a wonderful tool and help when you find the right person. I genuinely want to help others and am willing to go the extra mile to help you or your child reach success. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns!" less...
