"Hi! I am a recent graduate from Virginia Tech with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. This past semester I worked as an English tutor in an elementary school. I have come to realize the key to fully understanding a subject is recognizing the way it is interwoven with our life, society, and world. I specialize in writing, reading, and psychology. I have taken 18 credits of college level psychology. In my spare time I enjoy practicing yoga, being outside, cooking, learning, etc. I am currently studying to pursue a Recreational Therapy degree.

I completed college level courses in Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social Psychology, Psychology of Personality, Psychology Research + Lab, and Intro to Psychology.

I have experience tutoring 5th grade science and am up to par on accessing SOL objective materials for learning.

Professional career in tutoring English in grades 2-5. Worked with students individually as well as groups of 2-6. Identified struggling students and assisted them in meeting SOL standards. Assist students in writing.

I have completed a college-level Public Speaking course. I also completed 4 years of Theatre in high school and have continually presented business presentations throughout college.
