"I am a former Pinellas County ESOL department employee.As a Bilingual Assistant, I successfully taught English skills to students in the program who spoke other languages and needed one-on-one instruction to improve in areas of reading, vocabulary, writing, and math.

Although I do not have tutoring experience teaching Language Arts skills, I was highly recognized for my writing skills by the English Department Chairperson. She believed that my skills were above their curriculum and later implemented a Honors English course to accommodate future students like me. I completed Composition and Technical Writing courses during her tenure as Chairperson. She selected me out of 288 students to received the Outstanding Graduate in English/Reading Award.

I also can speak, read, and write Spanish.
