As someone with 10+ years in pre-hospital Emergency Medical Services (911 calls), I bring a wealth of both academic knowledge and real-world experience to my tutoring sessions. My career experience and nursing school experience has provided me with a strong foundation in tutoring both EMT and Paramedic students. As a 911 Paramedic for 5+ years, I have trained and tutored many EMT students and have had my fair share of Medic interns and real life experience. In my role as a Community Paramedic, I play a vital role in providing healthcare services outside of traditional emergency settings, often focusing on prevention, health education, and supporting patients with chronic conditions.This has honed in my experience in preventative care, post-care discharge, emergency response, and resource coordination. I often find myself breaking down complex concepts into digestible steps, a skill I aim to share with my students to help them grasp difficult subjects and find practical solutions to their challenges.
