"I have a passion for teaching and learning, and I do my best to engage students in the material. In my full time job I am a chemistry, AP Chemistry and engineering teacher. I approach teaching with a fun, upbeat spin, and am very patient with those who may not get it on the first try. I also coach track and field and am very interested in helping students grow athletically as well - I was a Division III All American in track and field and in 2014 went to nationals for NCAA Division II in the hammer throw. Music is another one of my passions - I sang in an a cappella group all 4 of college. I earned my bachelor of science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an M.S. in Science Education with a concentration in chemistry from Florida Institute of Technology.
