"My name is Nick, and I am a full-time engineer with experience in tutoring going back 10 years. I specialize in math, science, and engineering topics. I have tutored students from middle school to college level. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (AAE) from Purdue University in 2018. Since then, I have been an engineer at Howmet Aerospace, a supplier of turbine engine superalloy castings.

My greatest strength as a tutor is that I have experience applying the topics I tutor to the real world, through design projects at Purdue, past work experience, and experience from my current job. I have a strong belief that the best teachers are those who live and breathe the material they teach. I love what I do, and I am excited to inspire and enlighten younger minds to follow a similar path.

Of all topics, I am most experienced in tutoring math. I have a good grasp on many branches of mathematics, such as algebra, calculus, differential equations, and statistics. I know how to use a lot of different math tools. I am comfortable tutoring math on pencil and paper only, with a graphing calculator such as a TI-84, on the computer with Matlab or Excel, and more.

Astronomy has always been a love of mine. I have a strong foundation in the underlying physics of astronomy, such as electromagnetism and orbital mechanics. I would feel confident in tutoring any of those topics as well.

Photography is my hobby. As the vice president of the photography club at Purdue, I had the privilege of learning the techniques and fundamentals of photography from professionals. I can teach editing photos in Lightroom and Photoshop, or how to develop black and white film.
