Not to say teachers do a bad job, but there's so many students. All with different interests in teaching style. One on one helps a ton, but I go beyond and hone into your needed way of tutoring.
Either it is explaining everything in detail. Giving out step by step procedures. Or working through multiple problems until you understand them. Everyone has there own method and that is what I see as my greatest strength. Using your strengths for both of our benefit.
I have plenty of experience in the subjects I tutor. While having done them for over 2 years now I've also tutored them as early as 1 year after learning them myself. Back in high school I tutored mornings for Algebra. Getting some basic experience and realizing that I do enjoy it. I have also tutored PreCalculus, Calculus 1 and 2 during college. The students always seem to benefit from using as much time as they need. I continue to tutor my younger brother today.
