"Hello! My name is Sabrina, and I am an engineering student at Harold Washington College in Chicago with a 3.8 GPA while working full-time. I also have a bachelor's degree in communications from DePaul University and years of experience working in technical writing and public relations. Over the last two years, I have taken and received A's in the following math courses: college algebra, trigonometry, calculus 1, and calculus 2. I am currently taking calculus 3 and will take linear algebra and differential equations in the coming school year. I would ideally like to tutor middle school, high school, or early college students in algebra, trigonometry, calculus, or their high-school level prerequisites. My strongest subjects are trigonometry and calculus. I have a deep understanding of these topics and how to apply them in physics and engineering. I can do one-on-one in-person tutoring sessions near me, or virtual tutoring sessions. While I have not tutored professionally, I am a resource for my younger cousins and sisters (ages 8 - 15) when they need math help! I'm also a go-to for help in math and physics courses for my classmates (ages 18+). I'm a great communicator, patient, and willing to modify my teaching style to meet your learning needs! I'm eager to build a client base so that I can help students truly understand concepts and naturally apply them in school so they can get good grades and feel confident in their math skills. Math is a language that allows you to comprehend and contribute to other advanced sciences. It's an important skill for those who want to just get good grades or continue on in STEM and contribute to the betterment of the world. What makes me stand out from other tutors is that I have the math skills and expertise while also having years of education and professional experience in communications which lends itself to my organizational and interpersonal skills. I'm available for any questions or transcript requests, as needed!" less...
