"Hi I'm Richard, a recent BS graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a love for teaching. Through my recent collegiate experience I have seen many people try and find tips and tricks to try and memorize the material, without actually understanding it. I am a firm believer that the best way to succeed is to understand the subject matter deep down. That is why my philosophy as a tutor is to keep the pencil in your hands, and help guide you to knowledge instead of guiding you to answers. I love helping people and have seen individuals who believed they hated math and science change their mind when they begin to understand the beauty behind it. I want to develop an individual plan to help you succeed as an individual in this path you've chosen.
I have worked as a physics and math tutor for a year and a half, and a lot of experience that comes with that. My goal in this position is to get you to a place where you don't need my help anymore. I want to do everything I can to help you develop a strong mindset, solve problems, and foster your passion for math and Science. I love this job and want to pass that on to anyone I can. Please contact me if you are interested and we will schedule a lesson." less...
