"Hello and nice to meet you! Before coming to Texas, I received a BS in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida. I worked for NPR for a few years as an on-air producer and history reporter until moving to Texas to pursue a career in TV news. I loved my time there, and even picked up an Emmy nomination, but the workload grew tiresome, so I took a break to become a published writer at The University of Texas at Dallas, where I currently work. I am also about to embark on an exciting new journey to pursue a MA in American History at Boston College.

When working with me, you'll find that I try to make learning fun, but effective. Both English and history have the tendency to frustrate. If we can work past those emotions by finding study tips and coming up with better ways to connect dots, we can achieve more together.

Although I am relatively new to traditional tutoring, I have spent years as a teacher's aid helping students in a variety of classrooms comprehend lessons.
