"I love helping people learn how to effectively communicate in a variety of formats. Effective communication is the key to success in any situation. I have over twenty years of classroom experience and most recently have moved in to the position of Instructional Coach in a high school setting, where I provide support to both teachers and students.

I love tutoring because a comfortable one-to-one setting allows much more accessibility to learning for students and I can really get to know the needs of the individual, which in turn helps me to determine the best way to deliver the content.

I have an extensive background in teaching English at all grade levels 7-12 as well as a background in special education which has only strengthened my practice. Within teaching English, I have taught units on Public Speaking, taught an extensive cannon of literature, worked with large & small groups of students on targeted reading instruction and writing.
