"I have been teaching college-level English for almost 20 years. I have a Bachelor's Degree in English as well as a Master's Degree in English with an emphasis in writing. I have taught Freshman composition at California State University, Northridge as well as Valley College, College of the Canyons, and most recently (and currently) at Pasadena City College. I have taught Honors English Courses as well as a variety of Freshman Composition courses. Typically, my students range in age from 18-30--though I have taught younger students as well as students in their 60's. I specialize in encouraging students to become confident writers. Writing is a skill that requires confidence to master. I give students that confidence. The confidence to let go in their writing, so they can figure out what they want to say, and the tools to revise their writing so they are satisfied with a quality, completed writing assignment.
