"I am not a "professional" tutor, in so far as I have never (at least, as of this writing) exchanged my services for money, but I am a person who consistently gives out a lot of free advice regarding term papers and homework and whatnot, so I guess that I am, in some basic sense, a professional idiot, because it took me a long time to realize that this was perhaps not a completely judicious thing for a poor college student to be doing. As a result, I have appealed to my baser, self-interested instincts and created this profile to assist anyone who needs help with the areas in which I have some expertise (namely English, but also music theory). I am more than happy to do this, because the ability to write a great paper is an ability that is sorely undervalued by many college students, and it is why many college students are not great writers. But one does not have to write like Thomas Pynchon in order to write a great paper. It is indeed an ability that can be taught and honed, and you will be surprised by just how much your writing abilities elevate you in the eyes of your peers, whether they be teachers or fellow students.
What makes me qualified, you might ask? Well, writing has always been one of my strong suits. I have been actively writing since the seventh grade, which was when I first became interested in filmmaking. I completed my first feature length screenplay in ninth grade, finished a few more before graduation, and have been much more interested in literature since enrolling in college. I am currently a senior at Coastal Carolina University, majoring in Political Science, and plan on attending Cornell Law School in 2017. Other interests include jazz, political theory, history, and physics.
I have been actively writing since middle school, have developed a few screenplays for potential feature films, and have always excelled in my English classes. As well, I am currently working on finishing my first novella.
I am also a self-taught jazz and rock musician." less...
