"My name is Carolyn and I am passionate about tutoring students and helping them reach their academic goals! As a graduate of the rigorous high school program, International Baccalaureate (IB), I have experience in multiple subjects across many grade levels. I completed the full IB Diploma and earned exceeding scores in all six of my subjects: English, History, Biology, Mathematic Studies, Spanish, and Music. Taking these demanding classes in high school helped me cultivate the study skills I bring to all sessions with my students.

After graduating from high school, I attended Williams College, a competitive liberal arts college in Massachusetts where I majored in History and Music. As a history major, I cultivated my skills in research and writing, as well as literary analysis. For my music degree, I completed an undergraduate thesis, for which I earned highest honors. Throughout my undergraduate degree, I also coached and guided multiple students through the college application process.

My studies ave led me to Georgia State University, where I am earning my Master of Music (MM). In addition to my musical studies, I am taking a full course load, with classes ranging from history, philosophy, and educational methods. After many years of being a student, it is exciting to embark on my new path and begin to act as a teacher. I am excited to work with students on the following subjects:

- Grades 10-12: Literature and Writing Skills/Grammar, History

- PSAT/SAT/ACT Prep: Reading and English

- College Application Essays
