"I graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature. I also have a Master of Arts degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from NYU. I am certified to teach English and English as a New Language in New York State. I have worked as a secondary school teacher for 14 years. As a New York City ELA and ENL teacher, I have taught English to teenagers from around the world. I believe in delivering engaging lessons to motivate students to improve their academic language and vocabulary skills. I use different strategies to keep students engaged, such as image analysis, video clips, and discussions.
