It is so great to meet you! I hope that we will be a good fit so that we can work together to meet your tutoring goals.

I am a former fourth grade ELA teacher and have my bachelor's degree in English, with a focus in creative writing. I am currently enrolled in a master's program at a state university, studying political science as part of the Masters of Public Administration program. I currently have a 4.0 GPA in the program and am in the Political Science Honor Society. I will provide a non-judgmental environment to work with students on a one-on-one level to assist with whatever is needed. I also have experience with students in special education and students with disabilities. I will always meet students where they are at in their education and work at their pace.

I attended Western Washington University from 2013 through 2017, where I completed numerous courses in the areas of linguistics, grammar, poetry, and creative writing. I have received 182 credit hours through Western Washington University with a GPA of 3.05.

When I think about tutoring, I like to keep in mind that we are working together toward student success. Because of this, I come into every tutoring session with a positive outlook and plan to succeed. I think having a positive attitude even when we are covering challenging topics can make difficult work more manageable.
