I work one-on-one or with groups of business professionals from all over the world to improve their English language communication skills in business English as well as everyday conversation on the job. I have more than 15 years experience in the corporate/high tech world as a human resources manager with a passion for helping others improve communication through improved language skills. I also teach various ESL classes including conversation and job search at the Palo Alto as well as the Mountain View - Los Altos Adult Schools.

I am a graduate of UC Berkeley and have an MBA from New York University as well as a California Adult Ed Teaching Credential and Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

I adapt to learning styles and needs by creating interesting and interactive lessons that are relevant to the problems and situations faced by non-native English speakers every day. I have studied five languages myself so I know the challenges and excitement of learning them.
