"My name is Zahra and in the past 11 years, I have attained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Public Health and a Master's of Science in Nursing. I graduated with honors from both Dominican University of California and the University of San Francisco. Currently, I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau, The International Honors Society of Nursing and Psi Chi, The International Honors Society of Psychology. I have worked closely as a tutor with students in elementary school both inside and outside of the classroom setting and have developed key relationships. In 2018, I had completed my Community Health Clinical hours at Higher Ground Youth & Family services in Anaheim, California. As a mentor there, I served at-risk youth and their families by helping elementary school students get both their class and after school work completed and I engaged with them at lunch and during recess and even played sports and games with them such as basketball. This experience showed me the best parts of my character.

I have over 6 years of experience in both fields of study, specifically in Nursing and English. Currently, I am studying to take my boards exam for Nursing and I would love to give students the tools necessary to be successful both inside and outside of the classroom. As far as the English language, I am competent in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. Furthermore, I have taken at least 2 Pharmacology courses in Grad school for my MSN degree. And I have had experience studying Medical Calculations in my coursework, the exit HESI, and the NCLEX. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and photography.
