"I'm currently teaching Middle School English in a public classroom setting, but have experience working with English at all levels. I also run an after-school study hall and support students working on essays and other writing assignments. Prior to working as a teacher, I was a professional journalist in Washington, D.C. covering the government. My work has appeared in numerous publications, and I have won awards from both the Virginia Press Association and Society of Professional Journalists. I hold a Masters of Education and Masters of Journalism, both from Northwestern University in Illinois.
