"I have been teaching for three years now, and have experience with teaching both grade school ages and middle school ages. I have taught abroad for two extended periods of time, working with English Language Learners in developing their knowledge of the English language, in addition to mastering grade level subject matter. Currently, I teach full time 8th Grade English Literature at a public charter school in Kansas City and love reading and writing!
I will be able to assist students in editing essays, understanding complicated texts, and crafting essays or application letters for college! I have particular experience working with students who speak and are learning English as a second language. My availability is weekdays in the evening and weekends in the afternoons!
