"Hello! My name is Michael F, and I'm excited to help you improve as a writer or to get that college essay up and running. I have been an English teacher on the secondary level for over ten years now and have lots of experience working with students to hone their writing skills and prepare for a college-level writing experience. I have a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in writing as well as a Master's degree in Secondary Education. I have been consistently employed as a high school English teacher since 2013.

In my career, I have worked with students ranging from 12-18, through both middle and secondary school environments. I have taught at all ability levels, up to and including Advanced Placement English courses. In my time as an educator, I have created courses on writing and SAT Test Prep and have also had experience tutoring one-on-one both with SAT prep and college essay brainstorming, drafting, and writing. Both during my time as a college/graduate student and while working as a teacher, I have also worked in after-school programs and summer camps with middle school aged children and am also experienced and comfortable working with and tutoring students in the 6th through 8th grades.
