"I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in 7-12 English Education from an accredited college in 2018. I have been certified to teach in both Nebraska and Wyoming for the last 6 years and have maintained my teaching certification. I also a achieved a Highly Qualified endorsement in Wyoming due to my Praxis scores.

I have been teaching in the public school system for 6 years. I have taught all grades 7-12 at some point in my career. My current focus is on 10th and 11th grade English. I provide ACT prep in my 11th grade English classes and have focused a good portion of time on helping students with ACT English and Reading preparation. I have knowledge of most common Shakespeare plays (Julius Caesar, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, etc.), basic and advanced grammar skills, reading and annotation skills, American Literature, and most classic novels. I also worked as a writing tutor in college for two years assisting with college level paper.

My methods depend on the skills being learned. I prefer an "I do, we do, you do" teaching method where the skill is demonstrated by the teacher, it's practiced together with the teacher, and then it's practiced alone by the student with immediate feedback provided on skill. When working on reading skills, I like to read aloud and stop and talk a lot about what is being read.
