"Hi! I'm JJ. I received my BA in English from Sonoma State University and my MFA in English from Emerson College. I have worked as an English tutor both personally and professionally for over 5 years, and have a great love for seeing students succeed through the guidance and support I provide. In one-on-one and group settings, I help students to better understand the English language, and gain the confidence they need to succeed.

Most students I work with are in college, and many are ESL speakers. I use both the SQ3R method and VARK to help provide the best support I can, tailored to each student's unique needs and learning style."
