"Currently enrolled in my final semester at North Dakota State University, I am nearing the completion of a bachelor's degree in English. Over the course of my study at NDSU, I have developed my own abilities as a critical reader and writer immensely and have found a desire to share my abilities with others.

My experience working as a tutor at the NDSU Center for Writers has demonstrated and improved upon my English tutoring abilities, reinforcing my passion for writing as well as working with studemts. Working with a variety of students (including ESL students) has broadened my ability to assist in the improvement of writing skills and content. I have worked with students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and can confidently address and assist in improving written work.

My experience as submissions editor for the NDSU literary magazine Northern Eclecta has allowed me to establish an excellent foundation in proofreading and editing as well. This editing role strengthened my ability to work with both creative and academic genres and forms.
