"I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biology, with minors in Applied Math and Engineering. I know how tough courses can seem during the semester, and I am excited to offer a helping hand in your Science and Maths courses. I've experienced firsthand, the feeling of starting off strong with a course that you find interesting, but come midterms you start questioning the reason you took it- among many other things. Unfortunately, while many courses offer us the chance to learn new and interesting things, the nature of the classroom doesn't always cater to the needs of those with different learning styles. I'm hoping that we can change that for you and reinvigorate your interest in what you're taking.

I have a firm belief that in order to teach something you must have good mastery in the subject. I am very knowledgeable in the subjects that I teach, otherwise I wouldn't teach them. My aim is to try and break down complex theories and concepts into manageable pieces so that we can build the confidence and stamina needed to solve problem sets.

Currently I'm working as a research associate at a large genomics institute, and I'll be going to medical school soon. A lot of the work I do involves applying concepts from a broad range of the Science and Math courses I took in college.

I have chosen to teach courses that I have taken in college because I feel that having a student's perspective when approaching the material is extremely important. I would be happy to offer you help with a range of courses, including: Molecular and Cell Biology, to Biochemistry, to General Chemistry, and Physics.
