"I bring to students a sincere wish to share the knowledge and experience I've obtained in over 30 years of professional experience and study. My background as a Certified Public Accountant includes work with financial statements, tax returns, consulting, special projects, and government compliance. I have a degree in business from California State University Northridge. I am also a rated chess master.

I've tutored youngsters at chess, and adults with college accounting classes. I've also trained co-workers in accounting tasks and in using Microsoft Excel. I listen well and give my best effort to determine what approach to take with each student.

I have been using Excel regularly for over 20 years, and I have worked with QuickBooks numerous times as well. I've been working as an accountant for thirty years.

Please note that although I only tutor in subjects I've studied, I do need some preparation time to understand how a book presents concepts and examples. I do not charge for time it takes me to refresh my knowledge.
