"I'm Kara! I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rider University in 2014 and am currently enrolled in graduate school at Thomas Edison State University for Nonprofit Management. I have 4 awesome kids and in my spare time I like to read, travel and volunteer.

I have been a substitute teacher for the past 3+ years in our local school district. I have taught many elementary school lessons and provided extensive assistance to those students in need and am confident in my teaching abilities. I also have a year experience of tutoring elementary school students in an afterschool setting while in college. I offered tutoring for elementary language arts, math, science and social studies.

While in college, I maintained a 3.0+ GPA and graduated with honors. I took many English and Writing courses during my tenure, as well. When you schedule a lesson with me, I will make sure it is tailored to your individual student to best meet their needs. I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to learning and I am open to learning new techniques, myself.
