"Welcome parents/guardians and students! I am a licensed teacher hoping to share my love of learning and determined mindset. I am patient, but I work diligently to find solutions for my students to improve their reading/writing/speaking skills. I believe in thoroughly assessing learners as they achieve better mastery of their subject and empowering them to want to do their best!

My experience ranges from tutoring struggling 6th graders in Chicago Public Schools to teaching writing and literature to college-bound high school seniors (some of my most successful learners were labeled Special Education). While I enjoy teaching, I have also coached Speech and Drama for an award-winning team of students! I have over five years of proficient classroom experience in Illinois public schools (grades 6-12). I am a Golden Apple Scholar of Illinois and award nominee.
