"BACKGROUND

My specialties are German and French.

I am a native German and lived in France for a while where I received my MBA degree and worked at a Parisian newspaper. After obtaining my MS degree in San Diego, I have been working and tutoring in the US for 16 years.

I love tutoring and have done it for over 25 years. My past and current students have significantly improved their language skills and grades, and always enjoyed the lessons with me.

TUTORING SESSIONS

Every session is tailored to the student's needs. It could include building vocabulary, introducing and/or refreshing grammar, leading a conversation, or preparing the student for any tests. Overall, I include a lot of exercises and conversation. But again, I will work on whatever the student is most interested in.

- National German Exam (offered by AATG)

- Le Grand Concours (offered by AATF)

I also have 8 years of experience preparing students (children and adults) of all levels for the worldwide recognized language exams offered by the Goethe Institute (German) and the CIEP (French). In 2017, after extensive training in San Francisco, I was officially certified as a worldwide examiner for the levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, and C2 of the French DELF / DALF tests. I also teach at the Alliance Francaise and the German Saturday school in Sacramento.
