"Hi! I am a full time professional in State government with a knack for explaining complicated issues in simple terms. I may not have official tutoring experience but I do have experience in helping my nephew with material. My nephew who was diagnosed with ADHD is my sole inspiration for becoming a tutor. After months of struggles, we (his parents and myself) had a breakthrough and found the right method for his learning type.

It was during this process that I also learned that a large part of tutoring is based on developing a strong understanding of the student. How can I expect to tutor someone if I don't understand how they receive and process information? This is easier said than done of course, but is ultimately my goal.

Math has always come easily to me. It is something that I have to use on a regular basis where I work.

I studied majored in Public Policy and Political Science for my Bachelor's Degree and have decided to take additional classes to fulfill an MPA in Not for Profit Financial Management and Public Economics. Further, I work in government and volunteer during local elections.
